Hip Hop Social Work is social justice, cultural humility, and community case management. It is knowledge of self, dignity, and self-worth. Under the umbrella of Build N Block. Build N Block is a grassroots organization that I founded in 2020. Hip Hop is a subculture that we created out of oppression for expression. Social work is a profession that advocates for the oppressed. The marriage was inevitable. After obtaining my Master's Degree in social work, I see there is not only a need but also a lack of people to satisfy the need. The content on this page will at times be raw and uncut. It will be thought-provoking. It will be controversial. It will embody both Hip Hop and Social Work as I see and experience them.
